ClearCorrect's aligner system's highest level of training with IAS Academy. The aim of this program is to upskill General Dental Practitioners to expand their scope of what can be achieved with ClearCorrect aligners.
This Advanced Clear Aligner course goes into significant detail on the treatment planning aspect of Orthodontics and why this is so important with ALL cases.
Attendees will understand how a specialist would analyse a treatment plan and the common things to look out for - making treatment outcomes far more predictable and successful.
What Is The Format Of The Course?
Program morning
- Introduction to advanced treatment with ClearCorrect
- ClearCorrect: possibilities and limitations
- Effective diagnosis, assessment and case selection
- Arch evaluation and space calculation
- Advanced treatment planning with ClearCorrect’s ClearPilot software
- Effective lab communication and IPR staging
- Practical interproximal reduction techniques (handheld and mechanical IPR)
Program Afternoon
- Predictable, accurate tooth movement staging
- Assessed treatment planning and overcorrections
- In-depth case discussion with delegates’ models - bring your cases!
- Fixed Bonded Wire and Removable Retention
- Add Orthodontic auxiliaries into ClearCorrect treatment and understand when to use these.
- Case presentations with advanced tricks, tips and troubleshooting techniques

Meet the Lecturers
Robby Sehmi
Dr Robby Sehmi has been completely focused on excellence and quality from the beginning of his career as a dentist. He established his private dental practice in Northwest Sydney – Finesse Dental in 2008. Since graduation, he has trained extensively in minimally invasive Orthodontics, aesthetics and implant dentistry.
Dr Sehmi quickly adopted the removable appliance techniques into practice 6 years ago and has completed over 400 cases. Dr Sehmi teaches both simple and advanced removable appliance courses and has successfully taught over 400 dentists across Australia.
Currently, Dr Sehmi mentors dentists in all aspects of minimally invasive Orthodontics including removable and fixed techniques and the use of composite incisal edge correction.
